Ruby Yeeun Kim
Ruby is a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at Penn State University majoring in Human Factors. Her research interests include human-technology interaction, human-centered design.and trust in automation. She aims to provide a better user experience and trust in human-technology interaction by conducting human factors research in both designs and systems.She received her master's degree in the School of Information at the University of Michigan in 2022.
Zheng Ma
Zheng is a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at Penn State University. He received hisB.S. in psychology from Zhejiang University in 2018. He is currently conducting research regarding the interaction between automated vehicles (AVs) and drivers. The objective of this research is to investigate the driving styles of semi-AVs and fully-AVs and their influence ondrivers' acceptance and trust in the automation systems.
Xiaomei Tan
Xiaomei is a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering, specializing in the area of HumanFactors. She got her bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Beihang University in2013. She worked in the Lab of Social Computing in the Department of Industrial Engineeringat Tsinghua University in 2016. Her research focuses on studying and modeling driver situationawareness in automated vehicles and multi-stage warning design.
